2. we played v-ball in 40 degrees with pouring rain & the sand felt like shards of glass on your feet - we used the puddles in the park to wash the sand off

8. went to see the Avett brothers at Red Butte Garden - colb and i really can't get over how good they are live! they have a cello player that straps the cello to his chest & dances while he plays during the entire show! how? so much energy, so much fun - they just killed it & so did Red Butte. this place is bring your own and standing room only against those mountain guys in the background - ah i fall in love with this city more and more each and every day
9. hope everyone had a happy 4th of july - we watched more than 50 different firework shows from a park overlooking the entire salt lake valley, it was pretty memorable
